Sad news: Composer John Barry died

One of my all time favorite composers, John Barry, died today. He won Academy Awards en masse, and - more importantly - his music was really good. I know this depends on taste, but his compositions always stroke a chord in my heart. Although best known for the "James Bond Theme", I want to bid him farewell with one of my most beloved tunes, which also seems fitting to this occasion, the main theme of "The Black Hole":
May he find whatever he desires on the other side.

  4. @Snickelsox: Yes, indeed. I take it that you never saw the movie? Do it, it was groundbreaking for its time. Also, if you play the video, you will notice the tagline in the upper left corner of the cover ;)

  9. I haven't heard much work by this particular composer, but what I have heard, I've liked. I'm sad to hear he has passed but thank you very much for posting about it, it really shows how much you care.

It's always tough when one of the good ones die. Can we just kill the batman instead?
